Taiwan Indigenous Peoples Basic Law

The purpose of this law, proposed in 2018 by the Taiwan Council of Indigenous Peoples (and subsequently enacted by the Legislative Yuan), is to protect the fundamental rights of indigenous peoples by promoting subsistence, development, and inter-ethnic relations based on coexistence and prosperity.
